Now recruiting for the 2024-2025 School Year Office Administrators for daily casual work across all schools in BGCDSBShort and Long-term contracts may be available for application once accepted to our Casual EA ListDuties : The Elementary / Secondary Office Administrator is responsible for performing secretarial and clerical duties, record-keeping and organizational services.
Acts as the receptionist and manages the flow of office tasks to ensure timely completion as well as assists the administration and staff in the efficient, professional operation of the office and school.
- Qualifications / Requirements : Ontario Secondary School Graduation Diploma; A community College Diploma in Office Administration or equivalent certification or experience;
- Knowledge of office procedures and the use of office equipment; An aptitude in computer operations and above average skill in word processing and spreadsheets;
- Previous experience with the computerized student information system an asset; Accounting and cash management experience;
Strong oral and written communication skills; Ability to multi-task. A vulnerable sector check valid within 6 months from date of hire is a condition of hire with the Board.
