Housekeeper

Position Overview :

Seeking an experienced Housekeeper for a family located in Whitby. The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring the overall cleanliness and organization of the residence. This position is full-time, live-out. This position pays 55k for a 32 hour work week. Possible schedule configurations include : Monday - Thursday 8am - 2pm, Friday 8am - 4pm. Or Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday from 8am - 4pm.

Candidate Profile :

You are a professional and motivated housekeeper with excellent housekeeping and laundry skills who enjoys keeping a clean and organized home. You communicate well and are comfortable working independently. You understand a home is a living environment, not just a workplace, and can easily adjust your daily schedule to accommodate activities in the residence. Our client is looking for someone who wants to invest in a stable, long-term, permanent career.

Primary Responsibilities :

• Daily housekeeping to include, but not limited to, making beds, dusting, vacuuming, kitchen and bathroom cleaning, and staff area maintenance (basement office)
• Regular laundry of linens and bedding and occasional ironing
• Trash and recycling management – sort and dispose of recycling, compost, and garbage correctly
• Weekly clean of the patio furniture during the summer months and outdoor sweeping of entrance areas
• Ensure household security protocols are followed
• Answering the door, receive packages
