Job Description

American Iron and Metal is searching for an experienced Class 1 Driver with B Train experience based out of Moncton. Experience in any machinery is an asset.

• Pick up and/or deliver to AIM’s commercial clients or another AIM site;
• Willing to be on the road Monday-Friday (Bunk Truck)
• Secure the loads;
• Tarp the load, if necessary;
• Keep the equipment clean and in good working condition;
• Perform a daily inspection;
• Keep reports up-to-date;
• Always work in a safe manner.
• Other labourous and operating duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
• Self Loader experience considered an asset
• Must be willing to be trained in Self Loader if not already
• Must be willing to be trained with B trains if not already

Qualifications

• Class 1 license, required;
• Good drivers abstract;
• Minimum two (2) years experience

Aptitudes Requested:

• Follow all laws and regulations, in regards to driving truck;
• Responsible, careful and alert at all times;
• Willing and able to perform labour intensive tasks;
