Notre bureau de Montréal cherche un-e ingénieur-e civil-e senior pour joindre son équipe de génie civil et de l’eau. Le candidat retenu agira également à titre de responsable de la conception dans le cadre de nos divers projets.
Responsabilités
- Diriger la conception des aspects-clés de grands projets d’infrastructures, notamment les services publics, les conduites principales et le drainage;
- Gérer des projets de moindre envergure, notamment la conception du génie civil pour des parcs ou le développement de sites;
- Encadrer le personnel junior et les stagiaires, favoriser leur perfectionnement professionnel, orienter et superviser leur travail technique;
- Assurer la coordination auprès des autres disciplines afin d’intégrer une approche multidisciplinaire et holistique à la conception de nos projets;
- Assurer la gestion et la livraison des produits livrables aux clients;
- Soutenir les chargés de projets dans leur gestion quotidienne de mandats de SLR, de stations de métro, de transport et de gestion de l’eau à l’échelle du Canada;
- Assurer la direction des réunions de projets (à l’interne et à l’externe) et y prendre part activement;
- Collaborer avec les clients, les instances municipales et les entreprises de services publics afin d’obtenir les autorisations pertinentes pour les travaux de conception;
- Rédiger des rapports, à des fins internes et externes, à partir des conclusions tirées;
- Présenter, de manière conventionnelle et novatrice, du matériel / contenu technique destiné à des publics spécialisés et non-initiés;
- Comprendre les meilleures pratiques et les tendances sur les marchés du génie civil et des infrastructures;
- Prendre part aux activités et événements des associations professionnelles locales.
Qualifications
- Baccalauréat / Maîtrise en génie civil ou l’équivalent;
- Au moins sept (7) ans d'expérience pertinente en génie civil;
- Ing. membre en règle de l’Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ);
- Expérience de travail avec la ville de Montréal, d'autres autorités municipales dans la région du Montréal et expérience de l'obtention de l'approbation de ces autorités;
- Expérience en modélisation 3D à l’aide des logiciels Autodesk, Bentley, InfoWorks et des outils de modélisation hydraulique;
- Aisance à faire des présentations pour des collègues et des clients de tous les niveaux;
- Capacité à travailler sous pression, à établir et à gérer les priorités, à respecter les échéances; solides compétences organisationnelles requises pour notre environnement en rapide et constante évolution;
- Excellentes aptitudes interpersonnelles et forte capacité à communiquer, essentielles pour le travail d’équipe;
- Expérience dans le cadre de projets de type Conception-Construction / PPP, un atout important.
Échelle salariale La fourchette salariale établie de bonne foi pour ce poste, s’il est occupé à Montreal, est de 93,000 115,000 par an.

Our Montreal office is looking for a senior civil engineer to join our Civil and Water engineering team. The successful candidate will also act as design manager for our various projects.
Responsibilities of this specific role will include, but not be limited to the following :
- Lead and manage the design of key elements of large infrastructure projects including, utilities, watermains and drainage.
- Manage small projects such as the civil engineering design for parks, or site development design for a variety of projects.
- Support the development of graduate engineers, and interns in the team and review and manage their technical work.
- Coordinating with multiple disciplines, to bring a multidiscipline and holistic approach to design on our projects.
- Take responsibility for the delivery of client deliverables.
- Assist project managers on day to day running of projects such as LRT, subway and other transportation and water projects across Canada.
- Attend, contribute to, and lead project meetings (internal and external).
- Engaging and working with clients and municipal and utility authorities to obtain approvals for design work.
- Writing reports for internal and external purposes based on findings.
- Presenting technical material in traditional and innovative ways for review by technical and non-technical audiences.
- Understanding trends and best practices in the civil and infrastructure markets.
- Participating in local Professional Associations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree / Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in Civil Engineering.
- Ing., licensed in Quebec with the OIQ;
- Experience working with the City of Montreal and other municipalities in Quebec.
- Experience with 3D modelling using design software such as Autodesk and Bentley, InfoWorks, and hydraulic modelling tools.
- Presentation skills with colleagues and clients of all levels.
- The ability to work under pressure, prioritize effectively, manage deadlines and exceptional organization skills required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills essential for team-based working.
- Experience with the AFP / P3 delivery model would be advantageous.
