What You Will Do : Scheduling
Scheduling
- Driving and maintaining overall construction schedule over the duration of the projects
- Updating Project Manager with key milestone dates, and forecasting daily, weekly and monthly targets
Management and Leadership
- Overall supervision of sub-trades, workers, and suppliers
- Reviewing of drawings and sub-trade or suppliers’ scope of work to ensure compliance
- Maintaining and promoting safe worksite practices for workers and sub-trades
- Daily, weekly, and monthly inspections to review quality control
- Manage and maintain site and building cleanliness
- Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans
Construction
Assist with miscellaneous construction tasks on projects which may include : Door installsBack Framing / BackingMoldings / Trims
What You Will Bring :
- Minimum 5 years of residential or commercial construction related experience
- Wood-frame and steel frame experience is an asset
- Red Seal in Carpentry is an asset
- Strong focus on schedule and skilled in documentation
- Red seal, Certificate, University degree, or college diploma would be an asset.
