Job Description

• Complimentary meal during your shift through our Colleague Dining Program
• Complimentary uniform laundering
• Hourly rate of $21.38 to 24.43

What you will be doing :

• Ensure smooth operation of the Restaurant
• Greet and seat guests
• Provide concierge service to guests
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include :

• A minimum of one (1) year recent experience (in the last five years) as a server or host in an a la carte dining setting in an upscale, high volume restaurant "Serving It Right" and Food Safe Certification
• Impeccable grooming and presentation
• Completely fluent English language skills, both written and verbal
• Clear, precise, professional and helpful telephone manner
• Knowledge of organizing reservations and service flows
• Driven and focused on maximizing capacities
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritise
• High level of responsibility and commitment
• Team player with proven success in relationship building
• Commitment to providing excellent service and exceeding guests' expectations
• Comprehensive and current knowledge of local attractions, events, restaurants and transportation information
• Ability to anticipate guest needs
• Experience with OpenTable is considered an asset

Additional Information

Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to) : Constant standing and walking, Frequent bending and kneeling, Ocassionalcarrying and lifting

Visa Requirements : Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
