I'm looking for a Business Intelligence Team Leader for one of our customers in Boucherville. This is a permanent position, in hybrid mode.
Salary varies according to experience ($90,000 to $110,000).
Your missions will be :
- Ensure the accuracy, reliability and integrity of data on BI platforms through data governance and quality control processes.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify business needs and convert them into actionable information, ensuring their satisfaction.
- Coordinate the activities of the BI analyst team and external data engineers.
- Identify opportunities to improve data-driven decision-making processes, and propose solutions to optimize operational efficiency.
- Carry out tests to validate the reliability, accuracy and functionality of modifications and enhancements to BI systems.
- Keep abreast of new technologies and trends in business intelligence, assessing their potential impact on the organization's strategic capabilities.
- Manage the entire BI project lifecycle, from requirements gathering to design, implementation and deployment.
- Define project scope, timelines and resource requirements, ensuring adherence to budget and schedule via the Jira tool.
- Monitor project progress, anticipate risks and issues, and implement corrective actions where necessary.
- Oversee the management of the data lake and data warehouse.
- Monitor the use of Azure resources and optimize associated costs.
- Develop expertise, methodologies and tools related to data science and business intelligence.
- Guarantee security, infrastructure resilience and data protection by reducing data management risks.
- Ensure the coherence of data systems architecture in close collaboration with technical teams.
- Offer training to internal users, organizing sessions to reinforce their autonomy and skills.
- Degree in computer science, statistics, information systems management or related field.
- Significant professional experience (5 years minimum) in a similar business intelligence role.
- Proficiency in BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, etc.).
- Strong SQL and database modeling skills.
- Experience with cloud platforms (Synapse, Fabric) - an asset.
- Excellent data analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret complex data and provide clear, actionable recommendations.
- Oral and written bilingualism in French and English (one of the company's entities is located in Ontario).
