PURPOSE OF THE JOB
This new, full-time position, reports to the Director of Product Engineering and is responsible for managing, generating, and publishing all technical documentation generated by the department.

Please note this position is 100% in office, no remote work.
JOB DUTIES
- Publish all technical documentation (content provided by others) generated by the department in a professional, organized, and timely manner
- Define and maintain design standards, style guides, and document templates
- Edit, format, and lay out draft documents to comply with design standards
- Generate charts, tables, diagrams, images, etc. as necessary to enhance document clarity and appearance
- Introduce and implement professional publishing software, if necessary
- Assist in establishing a document storage, naming, and revision control system
- Collaborate and interface with various personnel to collect raw content and consolidate into a single document using established templates
- Facilitate inter-departmental document review and sign-off prior to publishing
- Provide insights, summaries, and flags regarding project status and risk or blockers
- Track, analyze, and report data and statistics of requests for edits, revisions, etc
- Interface with Product Managers / Owners and Project Managers to integrate documentation control into a PLM system
- Perform other duties as assigned that lead to the optimization of Department documentation
Requirements :
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Technical Writer, Graphic Designer, Documentation Specialist, Publisher, or similar role
- Minimum of 2 years of post-secondary education, preferably in Graphic Design or a related field
- Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, especially Word and Excel
- Highly effective in written and verbal communication
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities
