Adecco is currently hiring a permanent, full-time Mechanic - specializing in Cummins engines to work for our client on their Calgary, AB team.
As their Mechanic, you will be a key member of our technical team, responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty vehicles and equipment, particularly those equipped with Cummins engines.
Your in-depth knowledge of Cummins engines and your technical skills will be essential in delivering top-tier service to our customers.
Please note that this is a Senior level position, therefore apprentices will not be considered
- Pay rate : Starting $97,000 / year
- Location : Calgary, AB
- Shifts : Monday to Friday (40 hours weekly)

Responsibilities :
- Specializing in Cummins engines.
- Build and supports vocational vehicles for essential sectors such as fire, utility, towing, municipalities, and others.
- Build, service, and repair vehicles for vital customers.
- Be at the forefront of the Cummins Full-Service maintenance and repair program
Qualifications :
- Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
- More than 5 years of experience working with and on Cummins engines for both in-frame and out-of-frame maintenance and service.
- Fluent with Cummins Quick Serve.
- Platform training on L9, X12 and / or x15 preferred.
- Full-Service qualifications for most common Cummins vocational engines (B, L, and X-Series).
- Journeyperson certificate.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license.
- Strong attention to safety, detail, and accuracy.
- Commitment to providing outstanding internal / external customer service.
- Interprovincial Red Seal.
- CUFC certificate.
- CVIP certificate.
- Knowledge of the truck equipment industry.
- Experience with hydraulics and 12V truck equipment.
- Knowledge of Fire / Emergency apparatus.
- Ability and drive to serve as a leader for the continued development and expansion of the Cummins Maintenance program.
