Start Date: July 2025

Placement Length: 2 Months

Language Requirements: Spanish Level 4-Advanced

Please submit a Spanish Resume and Statement of Interest

Eligibility: Open to Canadian Citizens and Permanent Residents of Canada only

The E-Volunteer’s Role

Cuso International is seeking a remote volunteer to support the WWB Colombia Foundation in strengthening its capacity to manage its staff’s caregiving responsibilities by adopting international standards that will enable us to establish ourselves as a ‘Caring Organization’.

The volunteer will therefore support the development of the organization’s strategy to strengthen partners on gender equality issues, in particular by closing economic inequality gaps, especially for women, through the promotion of internal management practices that prioritize the well-being of their workforce and recognize care as a fundamental pillar of their organizational culture.

The volunteer will work in collaboration with the strategic partner to build capacity to work with disadvantaged groups, so that they may be treated with dignity, reach their potential and participate fully in society, in coordination with partners who can support them in overcoming their barriers.

This opportunity is perfect for professionals who are passionate about workplace well-being, gender equality, care economics, and organizational development, and who wish to make a significant impact in a global setting.

As an e-volunteer, you will support the organization through the following activities:

  • Benchmarking: Conduct comparative research into care practices in similar organizations.
  • Care Burden Analysis: Design and apply diagnostic tools to identify the care responsibilities of the workforce
  • Certification Preparation: Assess the standards required to be a ‘Caring Company’ and compare them with the current situation.
  • Awareness Building: Support the creation of strategies to highlight the impact of care on working practices.

Essential Requirements:

  • Degree in Social Sciences, Project Management or Business Administration.
  • Postgraduate studies (asset) in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Gender or the Economics of Care, or other related fields.

Essential Background:

  • Technical skills: Use of data analysis tools
  • Minimum experience: At least 2 years of demonstrable experience
