Sr. Financial Analyst

We are offering an opportunity for a Sr. Financial Analyst to bring their expertise to our team. As a Sr. Financial Analyst, your main role will be to provide financial reporting support, engage in intercompany accounting, and contribute to the consolidation of financial statements. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity in the finance industry.6 month contract, working remotelyMust be based on OntarioResponsibilities : - Ensure efficient processing of intercompany transactions- Take charge of the consolidation of financial statements, including manual uploads in Excel- Conduct regular balance sheet reconciliation- Prepare year-end lead sheets- Liaise with the operating team to ensure accurate transaction reporting- Tailor financial results based on department needs- Handle complex financial reporting, understanding the needs of directors and translating for the operations team- Understand the daily operational needs of accounting technicians- Contribute to the optimization of accounts payable / accounts receivable- Validate data accuracy, check coding, and verify if transactions make sense.- A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is required.- Relevant professional certifications such as CPA will be an added advantage.- Candidate must possess advanced skills in Intercompany Accounting, Financial Statements Consolidation, and Account Reconciliation.- Proven experience as a Financial Analyst, preferably at a senior level.- Proficiency in using financial software and advanced Excel skills.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.- Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
