Process Governance Specialist - Continuous Improvement
As the Process Governance Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the governance of all claims processes across our business lines and regions.
You will partner with business stakeholders to ensure that best practices are followed and that major changes are logged, reviewed, and approved in alignment with business priorities.
You will also manage our claims process map library and catalogue, ensuring that all processes are documented and up to date.
What are the main responsibilities?
- Oversee all claims processes across business lines and regions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives;
- Ensure that all processes are accurately documented and up-to-date in the process map library and catalogue;
- Manage the process map library and catalogue, ensuring that all processes are documented accurately and kept up to date;
- Lead process governance meetings and reviews, ensuring that major changes are properly reviewed and approved;
- Promote the adoption of best practices in process management across business lines and department;
- Measure stakeholder satisfaction with process governance practices and improvements;
- Partner with business process analysts to identify process improvement opportunities and implement best practices;
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional teams led by our continuous improvement partners to support process improvements and optimize efficiency.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives that result in increased efficiency, reduced costs, or improved customer satisfaction;
- Effectively manage changes to processes, ensuring that they are properly reviewed, approved, and implemented;
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement where employees are encouraged to identify and implement process improvements;
- Conduct daily follow-ups with other departments in our various sites, whether in Ontario, Miami, Mexico or elsewhere;
- Work closely with teams from our Windsor, Ontario site.
What skills and experience are we looking for?
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a related field. 6 Lean Sigma certification required.
- At least 7 years of experience in process management, with a proven track record of driving process improvements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work independently or as part of a team;
- Excellent organizational and time management skills;
- Strong interpersonal skills - patient, calm, empathetic and controlled demeanor;
- Computer skills (Windows, Excel, data entry);
- Able to multitask and handle fluctuating work volumes in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
