LOCATION : 560 Sheldon Drive, Cambridge, Ontario

Alltrade is an Industrial Contractor with clients across Canada and is part of the Barton Malow family of companies. Our services include Engineer-Procure-Construct (EPC) Construction, Design-Build, Integrated Project Delivery, General Contracting, and Specialty Contracting.

POSITION SUMMARY :

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Project Controls, the Subcontracts Coordinator will be responsible for reviewing and maintaining the subcontract terms and conditions and monitoring the performance and fulfillment of contractual obligations.

They will be responsible for collecting and filing all proper documentation as well as provide support to the finance and project management team to clarify and ensure conditions are being met as per the contract commitments.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Ensures contract requirements are accurately entered into the system in a timely manner.
  • Ensures the contracts are filed and actioned accordingly.
  • Responsible for collecting and filing all applicable documents that coincide with the contract (ex. WSIB documents) and ensure these documents are maintained and accurate.
  • Responsible for managing and maintaining the commitments as per the contract specifications.
  • Responsible for creating subcontractor orders.
  • Responsible for reviewing and pre-approving invoices.
  • Ensure payments are completed in a timely manner and as per the contract specifications.
  • Collaborating with the subcontractor to ensure the pay application is received in a timely manner.
  • Reviews correspondence to ensure compliance with subcontract, and obligations and requirements.
  • Support to continuously improve the processes or tasks in relation to subcontracts.
  • Acts as a liaison between the subcontractor and Project Manager

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Minimum 3 years of full-time experience related to the responsibilities defined above
  • Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university or equivalent experience
  • Experience working with Jonas software is an asset
  • Strong communication and practical problem-solving abilities
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work effectively as a member of a team as well as an individual.
  • Demonstrated business and commercial acumen
  • Financial acumen is an asset
