When you join CIMA+, we welcome you to a place that you can call home.Job DescriptionWe're looking for an engineer to join our multidisciplinary Infrastructure team and work on municipal engineering projects of various sizes in the Greater Montreal area.
You will have the opportunity to choose to work on institutional (schools and healthcare facilities) or municipal infrastructure projects for both public and private sector clients.
We offer a flexible hybrid work arrangement, allowing you to alternate between working from home and at our offices in Longueuil, Montreal or Laval (one day or more per week, depending on your preference).
Primary ResponsibilitiesDesign stormwater management structures, sewer systems, waterworks and roadways, and plan excavation and grading workCoordinate the technical aspects of projects with design technicians, other disciplines involved, the customer and third partiesPrepare technical specifications, tender documents, construction cost estimates, as well as various studies (specific techniques, feasibility and preliminary design).
Plan work phases and schedulesAssist the project manager with management tasks. Carry out occasional site visits and provide follow-up (technical assistance) from the officeProfileBachelor's degree in civil engineering or equivalentMinimum of three (3) years' experience in the fieldGood command of written and spoken FrenchASP Construction card or in the process of obtaining oneValid driver's license and access to a vehicleEthics and integrity are fundamental values at CIMA+.
