Job descriptionLabel verification vision systems on vial labelers and cartoners. Vial labelers, vial cartoners, shrink‑band machines and other equipment involved in final container labeling. Conduct periodic challenges for the packaging systems. Inspect packaged and pre‑packed products for possible defects using manual and semi‑automatic visual inspection. Conduct an accurate count of pre‑ and post‑packaged products. Execute all manufacturing batch records in the designated areas based on the training completed. Escalate any issues that could impact cGMP or manufacturing processes to the responsible manager immediately. Participate in manufacturing activities related to the assigned area, including sampling (process and cleaning validation, environmental monitoring, clean utilities), in‑process testing, weighing, calibration and maintenance of equipment (pH meter…). Actively participate in writing and implementing GMP documents (SOPs, batch records) using the change‑control system and maintain records as required by GDPs. Perform daily, weekly and monthly cleaning in the respective manufacturing area following applicable SOPs. Ensure all manufacturing supplies are maintained and replenished as required. High School Diploma; a CEGEP / college diploma in pharmaceutical technology or a University degree in engineering or science preferred. Preferred 1‑year experience in the biopharmaceutical, pharmaceutical or healthcare industry. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities. Ability to work independently and in a team. Must be capable of lifting, pushing or pulling at least 15 kg and wearing PPE as required. Some tasks will involve working in a refrigerated environment. Preferred experience in clean room operation. Bilingualism (French and English) both spoken and written. English is required for documentation, reports and interactions with Health Canada, FDA and other multidisciplinary departments in the organization. Eye sight exam including colour‑blindness testing.
Technician de fabrication - Purification - Quart de nuit (22h30 – 7h00)
Reports to : Superviseur de production – Purification.
Purpose Statement : The manufacturing technician will be primarily assigned to one of the following areas : fractionation, purification, fill / finish or packaging, and will be expected to develop multidisciplinary skills by alternating with other manufacturing areas to support business demands. The technician works in a manufacturing environment regulated by cGMPs, SOPs, safety procedures and all company policies and regulations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Set up, operate and clean equipment in the designated manufacturing area, including buffer preparation skids, centrifuge, fractionation skids and filter presses, TFF skids and columns, chromatography skids, filtration skids, and the filling line within an isolator.
- Set up and operate CIP / SIP skids, autoclaves and part washers.
