Interior Health is hiring a Casual Clinical Practice Consultant for Thompson Park Mall, located in Kamloops BC.
We are seeking an experienced NSWOC (Wound, Ostomy & Continence) nurse. If you are an organized individual with strong critical thinking abilities this is the position for you!
This is a DC2 / CH2 position. The shifts of work are days / Monday to Friday 08 : 30 to 16 : 30.
This is a Casual opportunity. Casual means there are no guaranteed hours and work requirements can vary from 0 - 37.5 hours per week.

What Will You Work On?
The Clinical Practice Consultant -WOC is to champion, guide and lead the delivery of a comprehensive Wound, Ostomy & Continence program for clients.
The Clinical Practice Consultant - WOC will promote the delivery of quality client care by providing clinical consultation and expertise, education and direction based on a specialized body of knowledge to interdisciplinary team members.
This role will collaborate with other Nurses Specialized in Wound, Ostomy and Continence (NSWOC); research and evaluate current wound, ostomy & continence standards and facilitate the development and implementation of program policies and procedures, education programs for staff and quality improvement initiatives, incorporating evidence based best practices’.
