Norpac is seeking a Controller to provide senior financial leadership in support of its ongoing operations and continued growth.
As the organization delivers projects that vary in scope, location, and delivery conditions, the Controller plays a critical role in ensuring that financial planning, reporting, and controls are aligned with operational realities. The role supports executive leadership by bringing clarity to financial performance, cash flow, and risk exposure across the business.
This position is well suited to a construction finance leader who understands project-based environments and is comfortable operating within an execution-focused organization. The Controller will contribute to strategic planning while maintaining strong financial discipline and oversight.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Controller is responsible for the overall financial management of the company, including accounting, reporting, compliance, budgeting, and internal controls. This role plays a critical leadership function, partnering closely with executive management, project managers, and operations teams to ensure financial performance, profitability, and regulatory compliance across all projects.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management
- Oversee all accounting operations including AR, AP, payroll, job costing, and general ledger.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with ASPE / IFRS.
- Manage cash flow, forecasting, and working capital.
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes.
