Adecco is currently hiring a full-time dedicated and experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Manager to join our client's manufacturing team in Whitby, ON. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring all products, services, and processes meet established quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations. This role leads the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the organization's quality assurance policies and procedures. The QA Manager oversees new product development quality controls, establishes performance standards and audit protocols, and drives initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, effectiveness, and overall product quality. This position also serves as the primary liaison for customer audits and regulatory compliance activities, promoting a culture of quality excellence across the organization.

Responsibilities :
Provide leadership in developing, implementing, and directing QA and quality improvement initiatives for all company products and services.Lead programs ensuring compliance with regulatory standards such as CE, RoHS, and REACH.Monitor quality systems and advise the executive team on performance, including reporting metrics and progress toward goals.Oversee gap analyses against relevant ISO standards; develop and execute plans to achieve ISO compliance.Manage internal QA audits in alignment with corporate policies, practices, and procedures.Generate First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) and collaborate with client-facing QA teams to ensure customer satisfaction.Establish and maintain a supplier quality program, including audits, controls, and qualification processes.Conduct risk analyses, verification / validation activities, and formal design reviews as needed.Support new product development and continuous improvement efforts by integrating tools such as Lean and Six Sigma into workflows.Promote a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement across all departments.Serve as the primary liaison for customer auditors during site visits and source inspection activitiesQualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience in Data Analysis or Quality Sciences.Minimum 8 years of experience in quality, reliability, or product development engineering (manufacturing preferred).Minimum 4 years of people management or team development experience.Previous manufacturing experience is requiredHands-on experience with risk management, product testing, capability studies, and control plans.Training or working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma (highly desirable).Highly motivated and self-directed, able to multitask and work with minimal supervision.Strong analytical skills and a high attention to detail.Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Skilled in creating and reviewing technical documentation, including project plans, design documents, and test procedures.Previous experience with Epicore is requiredCapable of developing, reviewing, and maintaining quality metrics and audit programs.Strong problem-solving abilities and sound judgment.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with demonstrated negotiation, conflict resolution, and people leadership strengths.Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in CanadaAre you interested in this position?
