Financial Analyst - IFRS Reporting - 90K

We are looking for an experienced financial analyst with in-depth knowledge of financial statement preparation and IFRS reporting to join a large Montreal company.

Duration : 12 months, possibility of internal mobility thereafter

Salary : Up to $90K / year

Location : Montreal downtown (hybrid)

Responsibilities

The financial reporting analyst will have, among other things, the following responsibilities :

• Participate in regulatory reporting with current laws;
• Collaborate in the preparation of the company's financial statements according to applicable standards;
• Prepare notes to the financial statements;
• Perform reconciliation of general ledger accounts;
• Strengthen and improve the accounting and financial controls in place;
• Analyze the variation of accounts and highlight trends and significant variations;
• Propose solutions for better cost management;
• Participate in the analysis of special projects;
• All other related tasks.

Qualifications

We are looking for the following qualifications for this financial reporting analyst position :

• Bachelor's degree in accounting;
• CPA or ACCA title, a major asset;
• Mastery of the application of IFRS or USGAAP accounting standards;
• Excellent command of English, both oral and written;
• Experience in the financial sector;
• Advanced knowledge of Excel : V and VBA search.
