Position Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Operations to lead and optimize our global operations, including supply chain, logistics, and distribution.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing complex supply chains, improving operational efficiencies, and ensuring seamless coordination across our direct-to-consumer and retail channels.

This role requires a strategic thinker who can drive operational excellence and contribute to the overall growth of our company.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Global Supply Chain Management : Oversee the end-to-end supply chain, from procurement to delivery, ensuring the efficient movement of goods across international markets.
  • Logistics and Distribution : Lead the logistics and distribution teams to manage warehousing, inventory, and the transportation of products to consumers and retail partners globally.
  • Process Optimization : Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and increase scalability.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration : Work closely with design, manufacturing, and sales teams to ensure operational strategies align with business goals and product timelines.
  • Vendor and Partner Management : Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and logistics partners to ensure high-quality service, cost control, and timely deliveries.
  • Performance Monitoring : Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) across all areas of operations to identify trends, measure success, and implement corrective actions where needed.
  • Compliance and Risk Management : Ensure all operations comply with relevant regulations, industry standards, and internal policies, while managing risk across the supply chain.
  • Strategic Growth Initiatives : Contribute to the strategic planning and execution of company-wide growth initiatives, including market expansion and operational scaling.

Qualifications :

Educational Background : Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field.

An MBA is preferred but not required.

  • Experience : At least 10 years of experience in operations management, with a significant focus on supply chain and logistics in a global environment.
  • Language : Fluent in English & Mandarin.
  • Supply Chain Expertise : Proven experience in managing and optimizing complex, multi-national supply chains and distribution networks.
  • Leadership Skills : Strong leadership abilities, with experience managing and developing diverse teams across different operational areas.
  • Analytical Skills : Exceptional problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making and process improvement.
  • Adaptability : Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and effectively manage shifting priorities and deadlines.
  • Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, external partners, and executive leadership.
  • Industry Knowledge : Familiarity with manufacturing, retail, and direct-to-consumer operations, particularly within the educational products sector, is a plus.
