We are seeking a Asphalt and Concrete Coatings Lead for our crew. As the Asphalt and Concrete Lead, you will perform a wide variety of projects for various clients across the city.

Job Summary

Our Asphalt and Concrete Tech will utilize our specialized equipment and apply materials on pavement and concrete surfaces in order to provide maximum value for our clients' pavement and concrete assets.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Use equipment to perform asphalt Infrared-Repairs, asphalt Pothole repairs, Paving, crack filling, sealcoating, concrete repairs and small concrete pours.
• Help with Line painting and acrylic sport courts projects when needed
• Plan and facilitate the production of a high-quality project
• Communicate job status daily with the Operations Manager
• Maintain a safe, hazard-free job site
• Additional tasks as required

Qualifications

WHAT YOU BRING

• A G-Class driver’s license with a clean driving record (Driver’s Abstract is required) and a reliable mode of transportation
• You are a self-motivated, critical thinker that likes to problem solve
• You understand the importance of punctuality, organization, and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a physically demanding role with lots of walking, bending, and lifting (up to 75lbs)
• Ability to work well independently unsupervised
• Past experience with small engines (like lawnmowers) and / or paint sprayers is an asset
• An Engineering educational background is an asset
