Shipper Receiver - AMS Rentals

Reporting to the Assistant Frac Manager, the Shipper Receiver is responsible for unloading and preparing materials for shipping.

Key Position Functions :

  • Documentation of shipping records
  • Unload, sort and inspect incoming material
  • Prepare outgoing material for shipment
  • Ensure proper paperwork flow of Purchase Orders and packing slips, rental returns
  • Organize and maintain the work area, including maintenance of equipment, product storage containers and racking
  • Assist with rental assemblies as required
  • Operate forklifts and overhead cranes to complete work duties
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures
  • Participate in rotational on call schedule as required
  • Assist with shop housekeeping and maintaining a clean and safe work environment
  • Assisting Assembly and Valves as needed
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Preferred candidates will possess a combination of the following :

  • High School Diploma, supplemented with 1 to 2 years of related shipping and receiving experience
  • Mechanical assembly / repair experience an asset
  • Forklift experience is an asset
  • Computer skills using Microsoft Office or an ERP system; use of RF guns
  • Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
  • Strong communication (oral and written), organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Detail oriented, strong work ethic, self-motivated
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and a willingness to learn
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team environment
