Project Engineer / Proposal Lead – Framatome

What You’ll Do Day‑to‑Day
- Coordinate all engineering work, maintain overall technical solutions, develop procedures, and acquire required tools, materials, and other preparations needed to implement the contract within budget and schedule.
- Plan, organize, implement, and follow through on solutions to address client needs.
- Define and forecast the necessary skills and work arrangements to support the project objectives.
- Supervise or coordinate day‑to‑day operations of engineers, designers, engineering technicians and others who assist in completing specific project assignments.
- Represent the company in communication with other organizations to resolve questions, plan, and coordinate work.
- Propose plans and cost‑improvement programs that allow the project to achieve its business objectives.
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s Degree (4 years) in Engineering. If applicable, a Professional Engineering License (P. Eng.) will be accepted in lieu of a degree.Minimum of 7 years of related experience.Good knowledge of project life cycles, methodologies and phases.Good understanding of a specific engineering discipline.Supply‑chain and procurement practices.Budgeting, scheduling and resource allocation.Stakeholder coordination, team collaboration and client presentations.Prioritization, deadline tracking, multitasking.Root cause analysis, innovative thinking and adaptability.Experience executing design and / or EPC projects (either in a Project Management or Engineering capacity). Experience with OPG will be considered an asset.Strong knowledge of nuclear design engineering, engineering change control and related codes and standards.Ability to respond rapidly to changing demands and transition between diverse projects and work teams.Total Rewards Package
