As NVA Canada’s eCommerce, Manager, you’ll be responsible for leading key strategic initiatives, partner relationship and performance management, and continuously improving our eCommerce capabilities.
You’ll be responsible for amplifying eCommerce across our sites, working with practices to drive eCommerce adoption and partnering to drive best practices for growth, with a heightened focus on client marketing.
Complementing your eCommerce-focused mandate, you’ll also support the growth of the nutrition category overall, as the most significant driver of eCommerce volume.
What You’ll Do :
- Work with hospital leadership, field leadership, and external partners to launch, promote, and manage online stores for practices that haven’t yet introduced their clients to eCommerce
- Partner with manufacturers, platforms, and the marketing team to develop and execute in-clinic programs designed to deepen eCommerce and nutrition penetration within practices
- Evolve our approach to digital marketing, working with manufacturer and platform partners to develop full-year promotional plans and go-to-market processes that maximize client reach
- Learn from best-in-class hospital teams and industry leaders to continuously improve NVA’s eCommerce best practices, actively leveraging those learnings to drive client eCommerce adoption, with a particular focus on driving subscription purchases
- Own NVA’s eCommerce roadmap, collaborating with distributors and platform partners to improve our offering and become more resilient to competition across product categories
- Develop tools and processes to improve our capacity to proactively manage and grow our eCommerce business, with an emphasis on performance management against KPIs and opportunity identification through reporting and analysis
- Serve as NVA’s dedicated subject matter expert on all topics related to eCommerce, and for adjacent digital initiatives as needed, supporting sites as a true servant leader
Qualifications :
- 5+ years of relevant experience in eCommerce, ideally in a multi-site omni-channel environment
- Bachelor’s degree in business / management or another analytical discipline
- Specialist knowledge of the pet nutrition category and / or veterinary industry are a plus
- Fluency with reporting, analysis, and taking a data-driven approach to problem solving
- Advanced in your command of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability and desire to learn new applications, including Microsoft Power BI
- Potential for occasional travel as needed to meet with industry partners and attend industry conferences
- An exceptional verbal and written communicator, with experience building and delivering presentations with clarity and impact
- Organized, results-focused, and highly accountable, capable of working on multiple projects
- Adaptable and flexible, with the ability to actively prioritize in a dynamic environment
- An independent thinker, but with team-player, partnership instincts
- Naturally collaborative with sensitivity to and ability to manage several stakeholder groups
