We continue to grow and today are looking for a committed, talented, star to join our team as our Quality Assurance Co-op.

This co-op is for Winter / Spring semester, from January 6 2024 to April 25 2025.

Position Summary / Objective :

Reporting to the Supplier Development Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the various functions within FSQA, regulatory team, collaborate with other cross function teams to establish alignment on quality standard and procedures.

Key Accountabilities and Activities :

Under the guidance of technical staff, the Co-Op / Intern student will be responsible for : Supplier management support Support in supplier documentation management tools implementation and maintenanceDocumentation support Support QA team on documentation review, create summary, reports and provide recommendationsCross-functional collaboration Collaborate with other departments to establish alignment on quality standards and procedures, conduct risk assessment and root cause analysis with cross functional team when neededProcess improvement Work with various QA team function to identify areas for process improvements Quality training and support Support in training corporate / operation team staff on QA procedures and GMP best practices, update training materialKeeps the work atmosphere FUN by keeping it light and welcomingDemonstrate and uphold Riverside Natural Food’s core values Other duties as assigned

Reporting Relationship :

The position reports directly to the Supplier Development Manager, subjected to update depending on projects and needs.

Qualifications :

  • Enrolled in a college or university science program in a related food, chemical, biological, biomedical field.
  • Good computer skills with intermediate level in Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written), ability to convey complex information to a non-expert audience
  • Working knowledge of root cause analysis, statistical analysis, and Lean methodologies
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with a high degree of accuracy
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills, self-starter with a high level of initiative and ADAPTABILITY
  • TEAM player with a positive attitude
  • Aptitude to exhibit, RESPECT and protect Riverside’s Core Values in a changing environment
  • Shows HUMILITY throughout the company on a day-to-day basis
