Senior Technical Analyst
Location : Windsor, ON (Hybrid)
Reporting to the Manager IT Operations, the successful applicant for this position will be responsible for leading and providing functional and technical expertise on corporate systems and / or infrastructure systems to the end-user community.
This position is also responsible for the analysis, design, development, testing, administration, including database management, configuration / compliance, implementation, and project control / management of information and operational technologies which include ERP, GIS, and CIS.
The successful candidate will guide Analysts, Programmers, System Support Analysts and users including Managers and Supervisors through the implementation phase of medium to large scale projects.
The Senior Technical Analyst will investigate and analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems;
troubleshoot technical issues to remedy applications, mobile phones, operating systems, endpoint patching and fixing, software deployment and distribution.
This position will also develop, administer and / or adhere to cyber security standards and change management procedures across corporate applications and operating systems.
The successful applicant must have the following skills and competencies :
University Degree in Computer Science or related discipline with a minimum or three (3) years of similar or related experience;
OR a College diploma in a related field with a minimum of five (5) years similar or related experience.
- Strong technology project management skills focused within an information systems and infrastructure environment.
- Takes a lead role in the development, implementation, and maintenance of cloud solutions such as Microsoft 365.
- Experience working with critical Access Control platforms such as PKI and Microsoft Azure including Azure AD Conditional Access.
- Provides technical expertise, leadership, and project coordination services to support and maintain continuity of the organizations computer systems and networks.
- Advanced knowledge with corporate information systems including virtualization, Windows products / services such as Active Directory, DHCP, DNS and implementing group policies objects.
- Working effectively with cross-functional teams, including Information Technology, Operational Technology, and Management, to enhance overall security posture.
- Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills with customer service focus.
- Research, analyse and recommend current trends, standards, practices and / or products.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Knowledge of firewalls, switches, and routers would be considered an asset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team through successful positive and collaborative relationships.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience liaising with external service partners / vendors.
- Valid Class "G" drivers licence.
Salary Range for Qualified Candidates : $103,795 - $115,328
