What we are looking for :
As a member of the plastics clinic team, you will provide a client centered approach to care that is comprehensive, progressive and effective for patients, family members and / or caregivers.
The primary responsibilities may include fabrication of thermoplastic splints for a variety of hand injuries, range of motion exercises and patient education.
While this position is primarily for the plastics clinic, experience in WSIB specialty clinic assessments would be an asset, as there may be an opportunity to do MSK assessments through the OWN specialty clinic program.
What you bring to the role :
- Registration in good standing with the College of Ontario
- Experience in plastics clinics, knowledge of hand injuries / conditions, fabrication of custom splinting is required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work well as a member of the team
- Experience with electronic documentation preferred
- Evidence of continuing education and professional development
- Demonstrated good attendance and performance records with the ability to maintain these same standards
- Demonstrates a commitment to a healthy and safe workplace for self and others (staff, patients, families, etc.) by taking all reasonable precautions and working in compliance with organization related policies, health and safety legislation and best practices and completing relevant mandatory education as required
Work Schedule :
The successful candidate will be available to work Monday to Friday 5.5 hour shifts. Please note, the schedule is subject to change based on operational demands.

$37.20 - $51.57 per hour
