Patient care

As a member of the plastics clinic team, you will provide a client centered approach to care that is comprehensive, progressive and effective for patients, family members and / or caregivers. 48_Performance Created with Sketch.

Performance

The primary responsibilities may include fabrication of thermoplastic splints for a variety of hand injuries, range of motion exercises and patient education. While this position is primarily for the plastics clinic, experience in WSIB specialty clinic assessments would be an asset, as there may be an opportunity to do MSK assessments through the OWN specialty clinic program.

Experience

Registration in good standing with the College of Ontario. Experience in plastics clinics, knowledge of hand injuries / conditions, fabrication of custom splinting is required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work well as a member of the team. Experience with electronic documentation preferred. 48_Creative Created with Sketch.
