Laborer

Job Description

The Material Handler / Laborer will be responsible for processing / handling wastes.  Operating equipment related to the position including forklift, pallet jack, etc.

Main Responsibilities :

• Follow the operations manual for assigned position;
• Implement Regulation 347 and Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) policies as presented;
• Completes all paperwork including task sheets and reports as may be required;
• Complete dispatched task in an efficient and timely manner;
• Communicated to competent persons and abnormalities or faulty situations in regards to the process, product, machine, equipment, workplace or other;
• Wear safety personal protective equipment as required for this position, work safely and observes all safety procedures;
• Able to work various hours;
• Must be able to wear a respirator.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Experience :

Work Environment :

Permanent position offered on a full-time basis, with schedules from Monday to Friday, day time.

Salary :

During the probationary period : 22.97$ / hour - 23.87$ / hour

After successful completion of the probationary period : 25.52$ / hour -26.52$ / hour
