We are looking for an experienced TIG Welder for our client located in Pickering. The company is in the business of Metal Production.
Responsibilities :
- Perform TIG welding on a variety of metals, including steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
- Set up welding equipment and select appropriate welding techniques based on material thickness and type.
- Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions, ensuring precision and accuracy.
- Conduct quality inspections of welded parts to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.
- Troubleshoot welding issues and adjust as necessary to achieve desired results.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Assist with other tasks in the fabrication shop, including cutting, grinding, and assembly, as needed.
- Follow company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with quality, safety, and operational guidelines.
Requirements :
- Proven experience as a Tig Welder in a steel or metal fabrication environment.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and welding symbols.
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Location : Pickering
Shift : 7 : 00 am to 3 : 30 pm (Mon Fri) OR 3 : 30 pm to 1 : 30 am (Mon Thru)
Pay Rate : $20 to $25 (depending upon experience)
