Job Description
Reporting to the supervisor, the construction equipment mechanic will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance, verification, repair and adjustment of the various components and systems of construction equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance, general maintenance and periodic maintenance on a variety of machinery, such as : Crane, excavator with shears, mobile loader, forklift
- Check the operation of the equipment;
- Establish a diagnosis when anomalies are identified and determine the causes;
- Ensure repairs and modifications to components, parts or systems;
- Complete maintenance orders and inspection sheets by recording the tasks carried out;
- Ensure proper use and operation of company equipment;
- Inform your immediate superior of any required action, any problem detected or exceeding planned times;
- Keep your workplace clean and safe;
- Work safely and in compliance with the company's OHS policies and procedures;
- Perform all other related tasks.
Qualifications
- Diploma of professional studies (DEP) in construction machinery mechanics;
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction machinery mechanics; or a combination of studies / experience deemed equivalent;
- Experience driving a forklift, mini-loader and other machinery (asset).

Additional Information
- Full-time position;
- Schedule : 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.;
- Possibility of paid overtime ;
