Job description
Adecco is currently hiring a Field Service Technician for an exciting opportunity with a leading technology solutions provider. This role is ideal for a bilingual (English/French) technician with strong electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills who enjoys working independently, providing exceptional customer service, and solving technical challenges in the field.
In this position, you will install, troubleshoot, and repair equipment while supporting customers with timely and reliable technical service. Training will be provided through certified instructors, online resources, and in-house programs to help you succeed in the role.
  • Pay Rate: Competitive compensation based on experience
  • Location: Moncton, NB | Field-based (travel within assigned territory required)
  • Schedule: Full-time schedule

Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional service and technical support to customers, ensuring equipment is functioning properly and service expectations are consistently met.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electro-mechanical devices using technical knowledge, diagnostic tools, and established procedures.
  • Utilize a multimeter to troubleshoot electrical circuits and interpret electrical schematics to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Complete service calls efficiently while maintaining high-quality repair standards and customer satisfaction.
  • Achieve productivity goals, including completing service calls, meeting response time commitments, and maintaining strong first-time fix rates.
  • Manage parts usage effectively while minimizing unnecessary costs.
  • Maintain accurate service documentation, including repair details, parts used, and customer interactions.
  • Complete required technical training and continuously develop knowledge of equipment and service procedures.
  • Travel as required, including the ability to travel to the United States for training.
  • Maintain a safe work environment while working around electrical components and technical equipment.
Qualifications
  • Must be bilingual in English and French.
  • Must be able to travel to the United States for training.
  • Previous electro-mechanical experience required, including troubleshooting electrical systems and mechanical components.
  • Experience using a multimeter and reading electrical schematics.
  • Backgrounds in roles such as military/veteran technical positions, HVAC technician, cable/internet technician, electrician, automotive mechanic, or equipment repair are considered assets.
  • Strong time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines and service commitments.
  • Highly reliable, organized, and customer-focused.
  • Valid driver's license and appropriate insurance coverage required.
  • Must be comfortable with an active role requiring lifting up to 50 lbs, walking, standing, squatting, bending, and driving for extended periods.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining strong communication with customers and internal teams.
