Bilingual Receptionist for leading not-for-profit community services client, downtown Toronto office.

Job Type : Temporary.
Initial Term : June 2, 2025 to August 15, 2025, with possibility of additional extension.
Compensation : $30.90 per hour.
Regular Work Hours : From 9 am to 5 pm not including 1 hour unpaid lunch break, Monday to Friday (35.0 work hours per week).
Work Location : 100% onsite at client's downtown Toronto office, near TTC station.
Responsibilities Summary :
Provide courteous and efficient facilitation of staff and visitors to an active, high volume, reception area; expedite steady flow of internal and external communication, such as visitors, clients, staff, messengers and delivery services, and provide coverage to central switchboard on a rotational basis. Ability to work in both French and English is preferred.
Reception Desk
- Receive and greet clients and visitors and monitor movement of same by maintaining a reception register.
- Coordinate vehicle bookings and equipment, and cleaning and maintenance of same.
- Assist with booking and tracking courier package deliveries.
- Coordinate and monitor meeting room bookings, and assists in review and inspection of meeting rooms and reception area to ensure they are tidy and well organized.
- Dispense and track cheques, food vouchers and other items for pick up at reception desk.
- Maintain bulletin boards, display cabinets and feedback box, as directed.
Switchboard
Qualifications :
Education : Highschool diploma and relevant work experience.
Preferred Work Experience : At least 3+ years of experience as a Receptionist, handling a busy front desk and central switchboard.
Preferred Sector Experience : Community services agency, medical office, front-line service desk, or equivalent work experience preferred.
