Responsable de l’exécution des tâches liées à l’expédition, la réception, le stockage et la distribution de produits, matériaux, pièces, fournitures et équipements. Prépare et remplit les commandes, soulève des articles pouvant peser jusqu’à 35 livres et utilise des balances, des transpalettes et des chariots manuels. Prépare et tient à jour les registres des marchandises expédiées et reçues. Le commis à l’expédition et à la réception travaille en collaboration avec les ressources internes à différents niveaux afin d’assurer la satisfaction des clients internes et externes.

Responsabilités spécifiques

• Préparation physique des commandes d’équipements d’automatisation et de consommables

• Utilisation de systèmes d’expédition automatisés et manuels (ex. : UPS, Purolator, Postes Canada)

• Organisation et préparation de l’équipement pour le transport vers les clients ou les sites de démonstration

• Organisation du transport pour garantir une livraison ponctuelle, sécuritaire et économique

• Réception physique des pièces, matériaux, fournitures et équipements

• Vérification et traitement des documents d’expédition et de réception dans le système ERP, et transmission à la comptabilité si nécessaire

• Livraison occasionnelle de colis au dépôt du transporteur ou directement à l’aéroport pour les envois urgents en dehors des heures normales

• Soutien occasionnel aux représentants du service à la clientèle en automatisation pour le suivi des expéditions et des commandes (par téléphone ou courriel)

• Mise en place et utilisation des meilleures méthodes (y compris des modèles statistiques et logiciels) pour surveiller et rapporter les niveaux d’inventaire des produits finis et consommables, et passer les commandes nécessaires

• Collaboration avec les départements adjacents et la direction pour améliorer continuellement les techniques et méthodes de prévision

Exigences du poste

• Minimum d’un an d’expérience pertinente en gestion d’entrepôt et d’inventaire

• Expérience en mise en œuvre de systèmes (ex. : ERP, systèmes de gestion d’entrepôt) considérée comme un atout important

• Capacité à établir la confiance et la crédibilité à tous les niveaux de l’organisation

• Capacité à prioriser les tâches

• Bonnes compétences en communication et en planification des processus

• Compétences informatiques avancées, incluant ERP et Microsoft Office (expérience avec Epicor est un atout)

• Flexibilité démontrée pour répondre efficacement aux priorités changeantes

• Horaire de travail basé sur les besoins des clients et de l’entreprise, incluant des heures supplémentaires et des fins de semaine occasionnelles

• Disponibilité pour les appels d’urgence en dehors des heures normales selon un horaire rotatif.

Le/la titulaire de ce poste aura à soutenir de façon quotidienne des clients internes et/ou externes à l’extérieur du Québec et/ou aux États-Unis. Par conséquent, ce poste requiert une maîtrise de l’anglais à l’écrit et à l’oral. Job Summary

Responsible for performing the tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing and distributing of products, materials, parts, supplies and equipment. Picks and fills orders, lifts items as heavy as 35 pounds and is required to use weighing scales, pallet handlers and hand trucks. Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped and received. The Shipper - Receiver works collaboratively with internal resources at various levels to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction.

Specific Responsabilities

• Physical picking and packing of orders for Automation equipment and consumables.

• Use of automated and manual shipping systems (i.e. UPS, Purolator, Canada post).

• Organize and prepare equipment for transportation to customer or showcase sites.

• Make transportation arrangements to ensure equipment arrives on time and is delivered by the safest and most economical method.

• Physical receiving of parts, materials, supplies and equipment.

• Ensure related shipping and receiving paperwork are appropriately completed, processed through ERP system and forwarded to Accounting when applicable.

• Occasionally bring packages to appropriate courier depot or directly to airport for rush (emergency) shipments in support of after-hours shipping (or after transport pick-up).

• Provide occasional support to Automation Customer Service Representatives by tracking and tracing shipments and following up on orders when requested (phone and e-mail support).

• Establish and utilize best methods (including statistical models and software) to monitor and report on inventory levels of finished goods and consumables and place orders as required

• Work collaboratively with adjacent departments and management to continuously improve forecasting techniques, method, and approach

Position Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year relevant work experience in warehouse and inventory management

• Experience with systems implementation (i.e. ERP, warehouse management systems, etc.) considered an important asset

• Ability to establish trust and credibility at all levels of the organization.

• Must be able to prioritize assignments.

• Good communication skills and process planning.

• Proficient computer skills including ERP and Microsoft Office tools. Epicor experience an asset.

• Demonstrate flexibility to effectively respond to shifting priorities.

• Work hours are driven by the needs of the customer and the business, which may include overtime and occasional weekends.

• Will be on call after hours on a rotation shift.
