What you will be doing :
Drive the planning, development and execution of the vision and strategy for information technology systems.
Collaborate with leaders at all levels of the organization to plan and implement systems that support pharmacy and business operations, ensure end-user satisfaction, remain highly secure, and enable more efficient operations.
Manage and maintain network infrastructure, technology platforms, telecommunications systems, help desk functions, data integrity, hardware and software resources, and vendor management.
Oversee IT Infrastructure, Operations, Applications, Security, and Compliance and Risk. Implement a new IT Governance and Architecture strategy and manage the IT team to ensure a successful implementation while maintaining and enhancing corporate and business data security.
Coach and mentor a team of professionals who are accountable for the delivery and security of all information technology services.
Develop processes that regularly evaluate existing technology, information systems and staffing and create plans to maintain and improve based on industry, technology and market trends.
Proactively manage existing and future technology projects, ensuring project sponsors are engaged and deliverables are achieved. Build and maintain strong partnerships with stakeholders (internal or external) to ensure project mandates meet the needs of the business.
Develop and monitor the annual operating and capital budgets for IT and supporting company-wide infrastructure.
Research new solutions and emerging technologies and recommend how these solutions and technologies can improve the business.
What you must have :
Positive and strategically-minded leader with a proven track record for recruiting and developing a collaborative and high-performing team.
Ability to assess, diagnose and propose forward-thinking technology solutions to support the strategic direction of the business.
Able to effectively build solid relationships across a variety of levels inside and outside the company.
Results focused with a strong track record of meeting strategic technology targets and deliverables amidst operational demands.
Strong relationship building, interpersonal, communication & presentation skills with the ability to adjust and influence as the situation requires.
Demonstrated capability to lead change and transformation activities.
University degree in a field related to business, information technology or a relevant discipline.
Extensive executive level experience in a hands-on IT leadership role within a medium to large organization.
Healthcare industry experience is a benefit.
Understanding and experience with pharmacy software systems such as Kroll and PointClickCare is a benefit.
Experience presenting to a Board of Directors.
