The Opportunity

As a Fuel Pricing Coordinator at Parkland, you will play a critical role in coordinating fuel pricing across the retail network.     The Opportunity

    As a Fuel Pricing Coordinator at Parkland, you will play a critical role in coordinating fuel pricing across the retail network. You will gather and analyze market data, monitor sales performance and competitor activity, and help optimize pricing to support business objectives. This role also involves developing tools and processes that enhance pricing efficiency and collaborating cross-functionally with teams in operations, marketing, and IT.

    Responsibilities

    Pricing Execution

  • Coordinate fuel pricing at Parkland’s retail gas stations by collecting information from field, determining prices, and communicating prices.
  • Communications

  • Engage wide variety of stakeholders including individual station operators, operations management, pricing execution, performance optimization, and IT on day-to-day execution, training and integration, and improvement opportunities.
  • Prepare and distribute several reports and statistics on pricing activity and market conditions.
  • Operating Model Improvement

  • Support evolution of retail pricing execution capability at Parkland.
  • Develop and implement tools and processes to improve pricing execution (i.e., information collection, price determination and communication) and performance optimization (i.e., data management and analysis).
  • Business Performance Analysis

  • Identify opportunities to improve Parkland’s existing pricing strategies by analyzing movements in sales and margins across markets, monitoring competitor activity, and measuring impacts on Parkland’s network.
  • Support analyses and special projects related to Parkland’s pricing strategies.
  • Requirements

  • Bilingual (French & English); Oral and Written
  • High level of individual initiative and motivation, focus on quality of work, and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated business and financial acumen, and analytical ability. Able to apply good business judgement in day-to-day pricing decisions.
  • Desire to enhance Parkland’s pricing execution capability through development of re-usable processes and tools, improving its efficiency, accuracy, and analytics.
  • Strong team orientation. Able to work with a diverse team based in a field and corporate environment, while working autonomously on day-to-day tasks and special projects / initiatives.
  • Positive, “will do” attitude when faced with ambiguity and / or challenges.
  • Strong work experience, demonstrating organizational, analytical, and communication skills, a proven record of positive business results, and an increasing level of responsibility.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint. Generally comfortable with technology and able to quickly learn new software.

  • Communications

  • Analyse de la performance commerciale
