  • Adhere to established policies, procedures, and PHC standards while providing high-quality nursing care
  • Monitor patient / resident progress, evaluate outcomes, and adjust care plans as needed for optimal results
  • Maintain accurate records of assessments, care plans, patient / resident status, and discharge plans using manual and computerized systems
  • Identify and address patient / resident and family learning needs, providing education and referrals as necessary
  • Provide direction to staff, promote teamwork, and share clinical knowledge to enhance patient care
  • Support nursing research initiatives and contribute to the improvement of patient / resident care policies and procedures
  • Advocate for patients / residents' rights and dignity, facilitate discharge plans, and collaborate with families and community resources
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the healthcare team.
  • What You Bring

  • Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
  • Minimum 2 years of recent renal nursing experience, including 1 year of patient teaching.
  • Skills & Abilities :

  • Strong clinical leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills
  • Demonstrated ability to teach, mentor, and support patients and peers
  • CPR certification and proficiency in dialysis-related procedures
  • Passion for continuous learning and professional development
  • What We Offer

  • Clinic Hours : Monday to Friday, 0 800 – 1600
  • Flexible Opportunities : Regular Full-Time, Part-Time, and Casual positions available
  • Next-Generation Facilities : Be part of the future of health care at the new St. Paul’s Hospital, opening in 2027. This cutting-edge health campus will redefine integrated care in B.C. and Canada—combining hospital, primary, and community services with world-class research and teaching.
  • Competitive Pay : Earn between $41.42 and $55.91 CAD / hour, with comprehensive benefits
  • Inclusive Culture : We celebrate diversity and are committed to equity, dignity, and cultural safety for all staff, patients, and communities
  • Collaborative Environment : Join a close-knit, supportive team where learning, mentorship, and professional growth are part of everyday practice
  • Specialized Practice : Gain hands-on experience in dialysis care—prepare equipment, monitor patients, administer medications, educate families, and collaborate across disciplines
