Background & Purpose of the Role
The Training Coordinator plays an important role in training and addressing development needs in support of organizational goals and business objective achievement for site operations. This position is the driver and educator for the skill advancement and training requirements. This role also identifies, evaluates, develops and delivers appropriate training programs to meet defined skill enhancement relevant to advancing business success. Areas of training include new employee onboarding, basic work skills development, position specific technical training, behavioral based training, leadership skills training, and safety / regulatory compliance training.
Role Main Expectations
Design and execute the training strategy in support of meeting site objectives
Manage the site’s training budget
Oversee training in all areas of the factory
Develop and track, with departmental leadership, training matrix against skills profile
Evaluate training material to ensure alignment with skill assessments and requirements
Develop and execute comprehensive and systematic training program supporting the pillar leaders
Identify training gaps through analysis of site skills assessments
Coordinate site training and education, including scheduling, set-up, purchasing of training materials
Report training hours and cost.
Identify future training needs
Lead and coordinate the onboarding of new employees
Provide opportunities for ongoing development
Execute additional duties as assigned

What You’ll Need To Succeed
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a Technical Field of study
Solid experience in operations with a minimum of 3-5 years, preferably in a manufacturing environment, ideally Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) and Front Line Management or Training
Lean Manufacturing Experience
Exceptional computer skills
A creative energetic attitude
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Flexibility to help cover all shifts with training needs
Ability and willingness to work off shifts as needed and have a schedule that provides support to night shift employees.
