Job description
Are you a skilled and reliable Yard Forklift Operator looking for a permanent career opportunity? Randstad is seeking a dedicated individual to safely maneuver materials and act as the primary contact within a busy outdoor yard environment. If you excel at operating a forklift in all weather conditions, managing inventory, and maintaining a safe, highly efficient workspace, we want you on our team!

This is a full-time, permanent position offering a highly competitive wage of $21.00 - $25.00 per hour. You will enjoy a consistent schedule working Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (with overtime as required). We are looking for the right candidate to start ASAP!

Take ownership of the yard space, acting as the primary point of contact for all materials, tools, and deliveries.

Responsibilities
Safely and efficiently operate a forklift in an outdoor yard environment to load, unload, move, and stage heavy materials
Implement efficient storage methods to maximize yard space utility, keeping upcoming jobs accessible and materials safe from weather damage.
Inspect materials and equipment to ensure proper working conditions while strictly adhering to all workplace safety and outdoor operating standards

Qualifications
High School Diploma (or equivalent) with proven experience in shipping, receiving, and inventory control.
Must possess a valid forklift ticket with proven, hands-on experience operating a forklift in a busy, high-traffic setting.
Must be highly comfortable and prepared to work outdoors in all weather conditions year-round.
A valid driver’s license is strictly required.
Must be able to work independently, demonstrating strong attention to detail, adaptability, and excellent verbal and written communication skills
