As an SEMH Learning Support Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in providing dedicated support to specific students with unique learning requirements. Your responsibilities will include working closely with the classroom teacher and other professionals to implement a personalised learning plan tailored to the student's needs.
SEMH Learning Support Assistant - 1 : 1 - Teaching Assistant - TA - Education and Training
Position : SEMH Learning Support Assistant
Location : Sudbury
Salary Scale : £85-£115
Contract Type : Full-time
Responsibilities of an SEMH Learning Support Assistant :
- As an SEMH Learning Support Assistant you will provide one-to-one support to specific students with learning needs, on a 1 : 1 or small group basis.
- Assist in the implementation of individualised education plans.
- As an SEMH Learning Support Assistant you will collaborate with teachers, Special Education Coordinators, and other professionals to support the student effectively.
- Foster a positive and supportive relationship with the student to promote their well-being and engagement.
- As an SEMH Learning Support Assistant you will monitor and track the student's progress, providing feedback to the teacher and parents as needed.
- Collaborate with other professionals to ensure a holistic support system.
