Job descriptionA relevant university degree or in supply chain management. 10 years of experience in procurement and contract management within construction projects. Expertise in procurement processes from purchase to payment. Proven leadership in implementing supply chain management systems. Strong project management skills for supervising multiple initiatives. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Bilingual proficiency in English and French. Availability for business travel across Canada.

Reporting to the Director, Integrated Management Systems, the incumbent advises system development teams on processes related to logistics and supply management for major projects. They ensure that the proposed methodologies and supporting systems adhere to best practices in procurement for large construction projects. The role involves close collaboration with the strategic purchasing department and construction sites to ensure systems are effectively implemented across all projects.
What You Will Do
- Implement procurement methodologies for all projects using our integrated management systems.
- Assess change requests to the systems, prioritizing based on impact on project activities.
- Promote innovation in procurement tools.
- Analyze contractual requirements related to procurement for each project.
- Propose a suite of tools tailored to project specificities.
- Assist project staff in configuring and using the systems effectively.
- Advise project managers on resource organization for procurement activities.
- Define and monitor KPIs to ensure proper system usage.
- Maintain communication with project teams to address system-related issues.
