Job description3 years of experience in supervision or management in a technical field. Postsecondary education in IT engineering or a related technology field. Strong customer service orientation and the ability to work in a team environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization. Strong organizational and time management skills attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
Role Description
As a Technical Supervisor you will be responsible for overseeing field support related to maintenance and repair of customer equipment managing supplies and equipment for the workshop and field conducting monthly inventory of parts and supplies as well as assisting the administrative team with customer equipment orders installation and delivery.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Support technicians with any issues during installation.
- Verify the accuracy of material preparation and delivery.
- Manage warehouse shipping and supply employees ensuring operational efficiency and meeting company service goals and objectives.
- Work closely with administration for ordering installing and delivering customer equipment.
- With the help of the Service Director allocate resources for machine assembly to meet customer expectations.
- Supervise supply orders to limit inventory at customer sites while ensuring customers do not run out of toner.
- Ensure all warranty claims are processed within the allotted time. When a claim is approved parts must be disposed of in an environmentally responsible manner.
- Conduct monthly inventory of parts maintenance kits and supplies.
- Provide support to dispatchers and supply clerks when the volume requires it.
- Maintain a safe and respectful work environment for all staff.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by ensuring all levels of customer contact are promptly answered.
- Work closely with your team to develop and implement processes.
- Oversee the setup addition or removal of machines (via our software).
