Job description

Title : Payroll Supervisor

Location : Saint-Laurent

Salary : 85-120K

Start date : as soon as possible

Responsibilities

Supervise the team of payroll technicians

Complete payroll cycle for non-unionized head office employees

Complete payroll cycle for unionized and non-unionized

Prepare various payroll-related journal entries

Analysis of payroll-related general ledger accounts

Manage taxable benefits

Review discrepancies to ensure accurate payroll

Verify and approve payments to various organizations

Assist in updating training data as required

Manage the CNESST Régime Rétrospectif financial file

Produce various reports for internal, external and statistical requests

Produce annual government reports

Support the implementation of special projects

Participate in the standardization of processes and procedures

Qualifications

ACP certification or academic degree relevant to payroll (an asset)

5 to 10 years' experience in a similar position

Experience working with Nethris or other ERP systems (an asset)

Proficiency in Excel

Bilingual (an asset)
