Maintenance Supervisor

Reporting to Maintenance Manager will work with the Maintenance Manager. The role of the Maintenance Supervisor is to ensure the maintenance, repair and modification of equipment and the building when necessary. His team must support all departments in achieving their operational objectives by providing them with operational, compliant and efficient equipment, services and infrastructure. In addition, the Maintenance Coordinator will act as a member of a team to improve the quality systems of the facilities required by industry regulations (GMP). His tasks and responsibilities are varied and will include, supervising unionized personnel, carrying out projects, purchasing equipment, managing the budget, coordinating maintenance work, managing records, managing spare parts, managing contractors, managing preventive maintenance and continuous improvement and finding permanent technical solutions for chronic problems.Summary of tasks : Follow all project management guidelines used internally by the organization;Evaluate all equipment, machines, infrastructure;Establish standard times for all work;Optimize processes; Solve problems;Skills sought : Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent depending on experience;Experience (3-5 years) in interviewing;Experience in supervising staff;Experience with MS Office and maintenance software;Bilingualism (oral and written);Knowledge of GMP (an asset).
