Job description

What you’ll do:

Reporting to the Grocery Supervisor, the Grocery Team Member will perform a variety of responsibilities in the operation, ensuring alignment with our Core values and Brand:

  • Understanding and following Westview Co-op’s policies and procedures and participating in the Health and Safety Program and promoting a culture of safety.

  • Providing professional, people-first, service to our Members and Guests and living by our Brand expectations through our “You’re at Home Here” motto.

  • Production, packaging, and merchandising of product.

  • Cash/Till

  • Accurate ordering and receiving of product.

  • Ensure high level of image and cleanliness in line with our Brand expectations.

  • Other projects and assignments as required.

This position requires the use of equipment, as well as frequent heavy lifting of product (up to 50lbs unassisted).

Who you are:

We are looking for a positive, approachable, and motivated individual with a drive to learn. Candidates will demonstrate the following:

  • Must have the ability to lift up to 50lbs unassisted.

  • Professional, people-first, Guest service skills

  • Understanding of our Values (Integrity, Community, Teamwork)

  • Strong attention to detail as well as organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Quality communication skills.

These are part-time positions, scheduled for approximately 12–20 hours per week. Successful candidates must be available to work days, evenings, and weekends.
