  • Complete mandates for our internal and external experts and work in collaboration with our building evaluators and other key stakeholders

  • Travel and meet with insured and fully understand the circumstances with objectivity surrounding their claim

  • Document the scene and state your opinion as to the probable cause of the damage.

  • Document, review, and assess the extent of damage to buildings following losses due to fire incidents, vehicle impacts, tree impacts, and other damage-causing events.

  • Work with drafting personnel to prepare, review, and certify architectural/structural plans for building restoration projects.

  • Record your opinion in writing and intervene to contribute to conflict resolution in the course of a claim by providing your technical insight.

  • The types of claims can vary, including building collapses, roof and cladding detachments, cracks in a building foundation, in-ground pool damage, collapses or retrofits, water ingress, etc. In short, any problem that may affect a building or structure.
