Your role

• Preparing an array of accounting / tax engagements such as personal tax returns, corporate tax returns, compilation, review and audit engagements including detailed client financial statement disclosures.
• Sitting in on client meetings, communicating regularly with clients to learn their business needs and building those strong client relationships
• Assisting with training for new students
• Managing various deadlines throughout the year
• Provide support, coaching and development of mentees.
• Preparation and presentation of technical sessions to firm staff
• Understanding the impact of engagement financials including time budgets, work in process variances and billings
• Staying up to date on relevant accounting standards and changing tax laws
• Completing various CRA filings for clients as needed including HST and responding to CRA calls.
