Formation : Position Summary :

We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Quality Manager to lead and enhance the quality assurance programs at Montréal Bronze. The Quality Manager will oversee all aspects of the company’s quality systems, ensure compliance with industry regulations and customer requirements, and support continuous improvement initiatives across production and engineering. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a strong background in manufacturing quality systems and leadership experience in regulated industries such as defense, nuclear, or aerospace.

Job Functions :

• Quality Management System (QMS) : Maintain and continuously improve the ISO 9001 and other applicable quality management systems. Ensure company-wide adherence to quality standards and processes.
• Compliance and Audits : Prepare for and lead internal and external audits (customer, ISO, regulatory, etc.). Manage audit responses and corrective / preventive actions.
• Inspection & Testing Oversight : Supervise incoming, in-process, and final inspection activities. Support and validate non-destructive testing (NDT), hydrostatic testing, and other specialized quality verification processes.
• Team Leadership : Manage and mentor a team of quality inspectors. Set clear objectives and develop training plans to enhance skills and productivity.
• Document Control & Reporting : Ensure proper control of quality records, test data, certificates of conformance, and documentation packages. Provide regular quality metrics and analysis to management.
• Customer Interface : Act as the primary quality contact for customers regarding quality issues, complaints, and resolution of non-conformities. Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Supplier Quality : Collaborate with the purchasing team to evaluate and monitor supplier quality. Participate in supplier qualification and development initiatives.
• Continuous Improvement : Promote lean manufacturing and quality improvement methodologies (e.g., 5S, Kaizen, FMEA, CAPA). Identify and lead projects to improve product and process quality
• 5–10 years of progressive experience in quality assurance within a manufacturing environment, preferably in defense, nuclear, or aerospace sectors.
• 3+ years in a managerial or leadership role.
• Experience with ISO 9001, MIL-STD, ASME, or other regulated standards. Experience with MS Word, Excel, Project Management and Analytics software
