The Mint is hiring an Analyst, Responsible Sourcing (Precious Metals) who can thrive in a dynamic and inclusive environment.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Compliance, the Analyst, Responsible Sourcing Precious Metals is responsible for the day-to-day due diligence supply chain analysis of the Mint’s refining customers, and assist with annual completion of the London Bullion Market Association (LBMA) annual audit completion for the Mint’s Good Delivery Certification. The Analyst will be expected to assist in the ongoing program development to the Responsible Metals Program including compliance with the amended LBMA Gold Guidance which is expected in 2026.
Your Responsibilities :
- Coordinate and assist in the completion of the LBMA Good Delivery annual audit
- Complete due diligence and analyze risk for the Mint’s refining clients
- Analyze due diligence and screening data to identify risk and mitigations
- Undertake enhanced due diligence activities as needed
- Monitor developments in the responsible sourcing space of precious metals and participate in program enhancements.
This opening is to be filled on a hybrid working arrangement, and the incumbent will be required to work from the Ottawa location generally on an average of a few days a month which could change based on operational requirements.
