At the Western Canada Lottery Corporation, we’re updating and adapting the way we do business with a renewed focus on meeting the needs of lottery players and stakeholders in our region – which includes meeting them online.
We are looking for a Digital Solutions Architect to play a crucial role in the delivery of a new iLottery platform for WCLC and help drive the evolution of WCLC’s Digital landscape.

The Western Canada Lottery Corporation (WCLC) is looking to add a Digital Solutions Architect to our IT Architecture department.
We’re looking for someone who can…
- Provide technical leadership and guidance on the implementation of long-term digital solutions that align with WCLCs strategic goals as well as interim tactical plans for managing and maintaining corporate solutions.
- Define and document scalable, robust, and secure digital architectures tailored to WCLCs requirements, including but not limited to business, infrastructure, application, security, data and service architectures.
- Create comprehensive models to depict the as is, to be and transitional states of solutions.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on non-functional engineering requirements and security controls.
- Work closely with other iLottery team members to support end to end traceability across the various level of models created for architecture and design.
- Prepare technology solutions options and analysis recommendations to meet business needs.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and continuous improvement in WCLC’s digital solutions.
- Provide mentoring and guidance to others on all aspects of solution architectures and IT technologies, with a focus on digital solutions.
- Provide technical leadership to ensure technical integrity and consistency throughout a solution’s life-cycle stages.
- Develop / support / evaluate RFI / RFPs and Total Cost of ownership (TCO) to support business cases.
- Develop technology strategies, roadmaps, and patterns to support WCLCs Digital journey.
- Provide input to the continuous improvement of Architecture processes and practices.
